Environment

  • Windows 2008/2012 server
  • MS enterprise tools such as Office 365, IIS or Exchange.
  • Install, upgrade, migrate and maintain middleware software, applications, and websites in development, test, and production environments. 
  • Design, install, configure, tools and/or environment. This includes the installation and administration of middle-ware tools and enterprise support applications running in a Windows 2008/2012 server.
  • Install, upgrade, migrate and maintain middleware software, applications, and websites in development, test, and production environments. 
  • Ensures the daily operations of the middleware environment for production, test and development applications.
  • Responds to and resolves help center tickets and developer requests. Researches, and resolves performance and functional issues pertaining to middleware applications. 
  • Monitors the application systems for issues with disk space, CPU usage, memory or other issues that may impact the end-users or applications. 
  • Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, configuration and administration and take corrective action to ensure applications are available, data is accurate, and configurations comply with defined standards. 
  • Implement standard web services using Microsoft IIS. Plan, coordinate, and implement middleware infrastructure using Oracle Weblogic, Apache Tomcat, Red Hat JBoss, and .NET components. 
  • Support for production applications, operations turnover, and performance tuning, and depending on level, additional responsibilities including team leadership and liaison roles expected. 
  • Ability to identify, develops, and update standards and procedures and ensure that products comply with existing standards and procedures.
  • Work in closely with the other IT teams in order to support the mission critical 24 X 7 computer systems and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients is essential. 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related technical/computer-related coursework. (Additional work experience beyond the minimum may be substituted for education beyond an Associate's Degree or certificate.) 
  • More than 3 years work experience performing advanced level work in a in a technical computing environment.
  • More than 5 years or more than 7 years experience performing advanced level work, along with a stronger skill set may warrant a higher grade level. 
  • Experience with Windows 2008/2012 server. 
  • MS enterprise tools such as office 365, IIS or exchange.
