Our client is looking to bring aboard an Applications Engineer on a direct-hire basis. This position is located in Racine, WI.
Who You Are
You’re a self-starter who is also a team player. You’re organized and can effectively prioritize responsibilities. You have excellent communication both written and verbally. You can analyze information and apply it to your strategy as well as process improvement.
What You’ll Impact at Our Client
As the Applications Engineer, you will provide engineering analysis in order to identify the proper application and selection of products. You will be the customers point of contact for assistance in selecting product for unique applications. You will support new product development by performing specific computer aided design using AutoCAD or SolidWorks. In addition, you will look for way of improving current processes and guide the implementation of new process.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- Minimum 2 years of related experience
- Ability to read design, mechanical, and electrical prints
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks
- Working knowledge in lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma principles and tools
